How many times have you skipped on your breakfast because you were late to work or college? Or have you skipped breakfast because you thought eating will just add to those calories? But do you know that breakfast is actually the most important meal of the day. It gives you the power to pull through a long day at work or school. So we are going to help with a few recipes that are wholesome, healthy and yet easy to make.
  1. Banana And Chia Seeds Toast:
This is a healthy twist on the classic Peanut Butter toast. Apply peanut butter on a bread toast. Slice ½ a banana and place it on a toast. Sprinkle chia seeds on the banana. This is a very easy to make recipe and it is full of vitamins and minerals too!
  1. Oatmeal With Egg:
Oatmeal? Yuck! These are the only two words which come out of almost everyone’s mouth when they find out that there’s oatmeal for breakfast!! But we promise this recipe is yummy and healthy at the same time! Prepare oatmeal as usual with milk or water; add a pinch of salt and pepper. Top it with poached egg and add some herbs if you want, and you are good to go!
  1. Avocado Toast With Eggs:
Lightly toast two slices of whole-grain bread. Top it with smashed avocado and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add it with sunny side up eggs. And there you have it, a well-rounded breakfast!
  1. Smoothies:
This is the perfect way to stay healthy and a very on-the-go snack. Blend together frozen bananas, peanut butter, soy milk, Greek yogurt, hone and a few ice cubes. You could also add a scoop of your favorite chocolate protein. This will give you a good boost for the day ahead.
  1. Stuffed Apple:
Fruits are the perfect way to start your day. Cut 1 apple in half and remove the core plus some extra flesh around the core. Drop your favorite jam or jellies between the two holes and sprinkle some oats. This is a very fun twist to eating just fruits! After all “An Apple A day Keeps the Doctor Away”, doesn’t it?
  1. Scrambled Eggs:
Scrambled eggs in under 2 minutes? Why not? Beat 2 eggs in a microwave safe container; add a handful of your favorite veggies and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove the container, stir it and cook it in the microwave for another 30 seconds. It is as easy as that!
  1. Oat Muffins:
Oats? Again! We know. But you can’t deny the fact that oats are a very good source of protein. This is not an easy to make breakfast per se, but you can store this and eat it any time. Just add grated carrots and zucchini to muffin mix. Add the oats and lightly sweetened raisins and a pinch of sugar to the mix. Bake them and voila! You are done. It is necessary to have a healthy and full breakfast in order to get through to the day. Not having breakfast is more likely to make you feel dull and drowsy throughout.
